Our Beginnings
On February 26, 1961 people gathered to worship at Margaret D. Bennie School in Leamington, Ontario. On June 18, 1961 a covenanting service was held. The first building was occupied in 1964. George Janzen is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through a desire to hold worship in the English language.
