Faith Mennonite Church is a welcoming community of people who follow Jesus and seek to live out His love every day. We ae a place where everyone - no matter your background or story - is invited to belong, grow, and serve together.

What Makes Us Special

We believe church isn't just a Sunday event - it's a community. We care for one another, support our neighbours, and strive to share God's grace in real life. Here, you'll find authentic worship, meaningful friendships, and a commitment to peace, justice, and compassion. We are an intergenerational and inter-cultural community who don't have all the answers.  We search the Bible and listen to the Holy Spirit to find our way together.

Our Vision

We see a church alive with faith and community, welcoming all cultures and generations, where each person is treasured,

encouraged to contribute their unique gifts and share their faith in Christ through worship and service.

CORE VALUE:  LoVE AND ACCEPTANCE

God's love is unconditional and extends to all people. God calls us to love one another as God has loved us. We embrace this calling by welcoming all people into our fellowship, regardless of their journey. Through intentional acts of kindness, support, and understanding, we strive to cultivate a community where acceptance is not merely offered but deeply felt by all. (Additional references: Deuteronomy 6:4-9)

John 4:7

Beloved, let us love one another because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

CORE VALUE: SENSE OF COMMUNITY

Our faith calls us to be a community that demonstrates Christ's love and compassion. We are dedicated to creating a church environment where everyone can find a sense of belonging and mutual support. Together, we build a community that encourages spiritual growth, fosters deep connections, and serves as a source of strength for all its members. We are committed to working with our neighbours locally and globally to make a positive impact on the world around us. (Additional references: 1 Corinthians 12; Matthew 25:35-40)

Ephesians 4:1-6
I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.

CORE VALUE:  Bible-Centered Preaching and Teaching

We are dedicated to proclaiming the transformative power of God’s Word. We center our preaching and teaching on the Bible, believing it to be the guide for our faith. Through engaging with Scripture, we encourage each member of our community to deepen their relationship with God and to live out God’s commandments. (Additional references:  Ephesians 4:11-13; 2 Timothy 4:2-5; Romans 12: 1-2; Psalm 119: 105; Hebrews 13:2; Deuteronomy 10: 12-22; Exodus 20; Matthew 5-7)

2 Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may by proficient, equipped for every good work.

CORE VALUE:  Hospitality & Friendship

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help. Again, if two lie together, they keep warm; but how can one keep warm alone? And though one might prevail against another, two will withstand one. A threefold cord is not quickly broken.

At the heart of our faith community is a commitment to friendship and hospitality. Following the example of Jesus, we welcome everyone with genuine warmth and a spirit of generosity. Our church is a place where lasting friendships are formed and we strive to reflect the inclusive love of Christ. (Additional references: Romans 15: 1-2, 5-6; Romans 12:9-13; Acts 2:42-47
