How it began...

On Feb. 26, 1961 an intergenerational group of people met for worship in English at
Margaret D. Bennie School on Sherk Street in Leamington, Ontario, Canada. On June
18, 1961 the formal covenanting service of the congregation was held with 54 members
signing the register.
And with a great deal of faith in God, Faith Mennonite Church was born.
Church Construction and Dedication (1963–1964)BY: AUTHORS NAME
Construction of the church building began in July 1963, with much of the work completed by volunteers from the congregation under the leadership of William Krause Jr. The church was dedicated on July 12, 1964, and included a sanctuary seating 300, along with classrooms and other facilities. Guest speakers at the dedication emphasized the importance of spiritual renewal and ongoing growth in church life.
