Our Pastors
George & Katherine Janzen (1961–1966)
As founding leaders, George and Katherine helped shape the identity of Faith Mennonite Church. They guided the formation of a демократически structured congregation, supported the development of its constitution, and led early worship gatherings in local school facilities. Their leadership helped establish a strong spiritual and organizational foundation during challenging beginnings.
Jake & Jean Rempel (1966–1970)
Jake and Jean brought youthful energy and vision to a growing congregation. They encouraged active participation from all members and helped strengthen a sense of direction and purpose. Their time was marked by enthusiasm, creativity, and a deepening of community life.
Art & Alma Wiebe (1970–1972)
During their time, the church matured into a vibrant, multi-generational community. Art and Alma emphasized hospitality, strong family connections, and active congregational life, including Sunday school, youth programs, and worship participation.
Peter & Dora Janzen (1972–1981)
Their ministry focused on faith development, education, and pastoral care. They strengthened Christian education programs and nurtured meaningful worship experiences. Their time also included outreach initiatives and building relationships within the broader community.
Edwin & Ruth Epp (1981–1996)
Serving for 15 years, Edwin and Ruth provided stable, long-term leadership during a period of growth. The church expanded its ministries, welcomed newcomers (including Mennonites from Mexico), and strengthened connections with other local churches. A building expansion during this time reflected the congregation’s growth.
Henry & Helga Dueck (1996–1997)
In their short but meaningful interim period, Henry and Helga brought encouragement and renewal. Their presence helped prepare the congregation for its next phase of leadership and ministry.
Glenn & Anna Mary Brubacher (1997–2004)
Glenn and Anna Mary led with warmth and a sense of joy, fostering a strong worship life and community spirit. Their time highlighted fellowship, music, and the welcoming nature of the congregation.
David Tiessen (2004–2005, Interim)
David’s interim leadership brought fresh ideas and openness to change. He encouraged new forms of worship, supported youth involvement, and helped guide the church through a transition period with creativity and care.
Ruth Boehm & Barry Bergen (2005–Present)
Under Ruth and Barry’s leadership, Faith Mennonite Church continues to grow as a compassionate and inclusive community. The church has expanded its outreach, welcomed diverse groups, supported mental health and community initiatives, and fostered a culture of encouragement, creativity, and service. The congregation remains deeply committed to walking alongside people in all stages of life and faith.
